IRIS Editing, Deleting, Archiving Testing Groups

Edit, Delete, or Archive your testing group from the Testing Groups listing page, or from the testing group's Details page.

The 'Testing Group' permission is needed for these actions.

How to Edit a Testing Group

You can edit any fields on a testing group, but will not be able to change whether the group is for paid or lead gen efforts or change a category that is dependent on this selection. Any other fields are fair game.

How to Delete a Testing Group

If you decide to delete a testing group, the efforts themselves will remain in IRIS, however the group, subgroups, and all assignments of efforts to them will be removed completely. You’ll need to confirm the action and acknowledge that it can’t be reversed. This can be a dramatic action for a long-term test and should be done with care.

How to Archive a Testing Group

Many times a test will run its course, but you’d like to keep it in the system for reference. Archiving allows you to do just that and will keep the testing group, its effort assignments, and all associated data, but move the group out of the Active section and down to the Archived section of the group listings. New efforts can’t be assigned to archived testing groups, however archived testing groups can be reactivated at anytime.
