IRIS Testing Group Categories

Categories are broad topics in marketing that your testing groups can be organized into. IRIS provides a handful of commonly used categories in paid and lead gen that cover most testing needs, but you're free to add as many custom categories as you'd like.
How to Access Categories
- From the efforts listing screen select from the reports menu
- To access Categories click the category filter dropdown above the listing table.

You can also access Categories by clicking into any testing group. You'll see a small icon under the testing group name, next to the selected categories for that group.- Once you reach the Categories screen, you'll find the list of all current testing group categories set up for your business, divided into paid and lead gen. For each of these categories, you'll be able to see how many active and archived testing groups there are.

Adding a category
To create your own custom category:
- Click in the upper left of the Testing Group Categories screen.
The Create Category dialog box will appear, complete the following fields:
Name Enter the name for the category Category Type Choose whether the category will hod test for paid or lead gen items Description Enter a description to distinguish the category from the other - Click
Designing your own category system
Categories provide an opportunity for your team to take charge of testing groups and design an organization system that works for you. You could choose to make a category dedicated to testing subject lines and keep those separated from other copy related tests. You could split out categories for upsells and cross-sells if that's helpful for your team. Whatever supports your testing needs.
