Telesales Agents Sales Rep Number Setup
Summary / TL:DR: Telesales users may need additional setup for access to lists in TEL and/or for reporting purposes. Use these instructions to add a new telesales agent once the user has been added to Advantage. For instructions on adding a user to Advantage, go here.
How to Add a Sales Rep Number
What you need
Advantage User ID
Rep's initials
Step 1 - Add the Sales Rep Number
Navigate to CDSSLR view (Sales Representatives)
Click on the Add + button
The Sales Rep Information Maintenance dialog box will appear. Complete the following fields:
Sales Rep Number* | Enter the sales rep's initials. Up to 8 characters, generally the first, middle and last initial unless already in use. |
Sales Rep Name* | Enter the sales rep's name |
Sales Rep Initials | Enter the initials for the sales rep. This does not have to match the sales rep number, this should be the actual initials for the sales rep. |
Commission Office* | Enter the owning org for the affiliate the sales rep works for |
4. Click Next
5. Click Ok
Step 2 - Map the Sales Rep Code
Once the sales rep code is created, it needs to be mapped to be associated with the user's account.
Navigate to the Sales Rep User ID Mappings screen TELSRI
Click on Add +
The Sales Rep User ID Mapping Maintenance dialog box will appear. Complete the following fields:
User Login ID* | Enter the user ID for the sales agent. This is generally their first initial and 5 letters of their last name |
Sales Rep Number* | Enter the sales rep's initials created in step 1 |
4. Click OK
