Understanding Creatives
Summary / TL:DR: This article is a reference to help users understand creatives in Advantage.
Creatives in Advantage are used to track, report, and target all promotional creatives and their versions. Click Creative in the Marketing Ribbon to navigate to the Creatives screen.
Creatives Screen
These are the recommended customized columns for this screen. Â There are more columns available.
Creative Code | Displays the code that identifies the creative. |
---|---|
Version Number | Displays the version of the creative. |
Owning Organization | Displays the owning organization the creative belongs to. |
Description | Displays more detail about the creative. |
Item Number | Displays the item number or publication code the creative is associated with. |
Local Currency | Displace the currency. |
Price Point | Displays the price point. |
Last Updated | Displays the date and time the creative was last updated. |
Last Update By Description | Displays the user name of the last person to update the creative. |
Creative Maintenance
Creative Code* | Free form field used to identify the creative. The creative code can be up to 12 characters long and should contain the name of the creative. |
Details Tab
Creative Headline | Defines the headline used on the creative. |

Description | Allows users to enter more information about the creative. |
Narrative | Allows users to enter addition details. |
Previous Creative Code | Allows users to link a previous creative that may have inspired the creative being entered. |
Owning Organization | Defines the owning organization the creative belongs to. |
Item Number | Defines the publication code or item number. |
Local Currency | Defines the local currency. |
Price Point | Defines the price point. |
Headline Changed? | Defines whether a change has been made to the headline. |
Headline Change Text | Defines details about the headline changes. |
Lead Changed? | Defines whether a change has been made to the lead. |
Lead Change Text | Defines details about the lead changes. |
Offer Changed? | Defines whether a change has been made to the offer. |
Offer Change Text | Defines details about the offer changes. |
Other Changed? | Defines whether anything else on the creative has changed. |
Other Change Text | Defines details about other changes. |
Documents Tab
Website URL | Allows users to link to the promotion. This is extremely beneficial to Customer Service teams. |
Image of Promotion | Allows users to map to a network drive where a .PDF of the promotion is saved. This is extremely beneficial to Customer Service teams. |
Copy Writers Tab
Copywriter | Defines the name of the copywriter. |
Copywriter Type | Defines primary and secondary copywriters. |
