Summary / TL:DR: This article will show you how to temporarily suspend a subscription in Advantage. Customer's may be traveling for a period of time and wish for their subscription to suspend during this time.

How to Temporarily Suspend a Subscription
From the Customer Service ribbon, navigate to Customer Activity
Select the subscription you want to update and then select Subscription Modification
The Choose Modification Operation box will appear, enter TMP for Temporary Suspension and click OK
The Cir Suspension Maintenance dialog box will appear, complete the following fields:
Service Reason | Enter the Service Reason. |
Suspend by Issue | Select either Suspend by Issue or Suspend by Date. |
Suspend by Date | Select either Suspend by Date or Suspend by Issue. |
5. Click Next
6. Select all subscriptions eligible for suspension that the customer would like to suspend
7. Click OK
A suspension does not kick in until the next issue pull. so, if you suspend a monthly subscription that just had an issue pull the day before, you will not see a suspension status until the next issue pull. Temporary suspensions require a start AND end date. If the customer is unsure when they want their services to start again, go here for instructions to indefinitely suspend their subscription.
