Add Domains to IIS
Summary / TL:DR: This article will show you how to to add domain to IIS
Before you can do any of this you need to have IT give you access to log in to the iris-wfe-p1 server and have them install Remote Desktop Connection on your computer.
Confirm that the IP is pointed correctly and certs have been added correctly. If there's any issue, talk to IT and ask what they recommend.
Vanity Domains: go to http://ipinfo.info/html/ip_checker.php or some other site IP checker and plug in the domain you want to add, confirm that the site is added to an IP and it looks like one of ours.
Here's an example that's set up right:

Paid and Lead Gen Domains: go to https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html or some other SSL checker and enter your domain (with the subdomain and everything). Mostly you just want to make sure that you're seeing all green check marks, but you can also check the cert and IP it's added on to confirm.

Here's an example where the cert isn't set up:
2. Open Remote Desktop Connection:
3. Choose to sign in to iris-wfe-p1, Connect, and enter your login credentials:
4. Open Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager
5. Navigate to IRIS-WFE-P1 → Sites
6. Right Click on the relevant site (see below) → Edit Bindings
For Vanity URLs, use the Vanity URL site (always starts with www.)
For Lead Gen, use the Lead Gen Domains site (signup. or signups. could also be reports.)
For Paid Domains, use the ContentApplication site (always pro.)
7. Click Add...a. For Vanity Domains:
i. Enter the vanity URL WITHOUT the www. as an http site and click ok
ii. Click add again
iii. Enter the vanity URL WITH the www. as an http site and click ok
8. Repeat the steps above for each domain you need to add - confirm that IPs/Certs have been set up, and add the domain as a binding to the correct IIS site twice ([with and without www.] or [with http and with https])
9. Click Windows → Your username → Sign out
DO! NOT! SHUT DOWN!
This is the live IRIS server that is hosting all IRIS promotions (which means basically all advertisement pages our affiliates have on the internet) - if you shut it down all of those sites will go down and we won't be able to get them back until someone from IT turns it back on.
