IRIS Creating a Multivariate Group

Multivariate efforts are a quick and easy way to split traffic from one promo page to another.  If you're testing anything beyond the mailing you should use this functionality rather than creating a split mailing.  You can also use this functionality to swap out promo codes on website banner ads without changing the link.  Follow the instructions below to utilize Multivariate Groups for testing purposes.

How to Create a Multivariate Group

  1. Create the first effort as you normally would.
  2. Copy the effort you would like to add to the multivariate group.

You will be prompted to choose if you would like this new effort to be used within the same Multivariate ID.

  3. Click Yes in the popup window.
  4. On the copy of the effort, make changes to the Segment and/or Page (if necessary)

  5. Click

You do not have a valid <a href="https://apps.appf.re/me/mp/cloud?hosting=cloud&tab=overview">MultiExcerpt</a> app license.&nbsp; Please sign up for a free trial or purchase a license through the <a href="https://apps.appf.re/me/mp/cloud?hosting=cloud&tab=overview">Atlassian Marketplace</a>.

All efforts within the same Multivariate ID must share the same item code.
