Summary / TL:DR: This article will show you how to release a refund that has been processed in Advantage.


How to Release Stuck Refunds

  1. From the Customer Service ribbon, navigate to Invoices and Payments

  2. Search and select the customer and locate the stuck refund.  

  3. Stuck refunds will have an amount displayed in the Remaining Amt. column with a Trans. Type of C.

  4. Select Set Refund Status (this option is available via the right-click menu) 

  5. A dialog box will appear, select Yes

  6. The Refund Credit dialog box will appear. Complete the following fields:

Allow Refund

Enter "Y" under Allow Refund

Refund Hold Status

Enter "O" under Refund Hold Status

7. Click OK
