IRIS Create a Double Opt-In Confirmation Email

This is the creative component of a double opt-in confirmation effort. Marketers create and use these in efforts to send an automatic email when additional validation is needed from customers upon signup or purchase in order to introduce them to additional content, as a result of legal stipulation, to avoid spam, bots, or other events that require more than a single confirmation. Use these instructions when creating a double opt-in confirmation email. 

 

 

How to Create a Double Opt-In Confirmation Email

  1. Hover over  and select  to start.

  2. Complete the following fields:



    Name*Enter a name for the creative.
    Item*Select an item for this creative. This can be an internal, Agora, or Non-Agora item.
    Item TypeThe item type will be autofilled based on the item.
    Creative Type*Select Double Opt-In Confirmation Email as the creative type.


    Friendly FromEnter the name that customers will see in their inbox when receiving the confirmation.
    From AddressThis will default to an address based on the item.
    Subject Line*Enter the Subject line of the email.
    Head ContentEnter any content that will be placed into the <head> tag of this rendered webpage.  This can be used for tracking scripts or other JavaScript / CSS code. 
    Body Content*

    Use the WYSIWYG to build the Lift Note.
