ADV FAQs Gratis Ship a Product

This article will show you how to gratis ship a product to a customer, that they have not yet ordered in Advantage.  If the customer already ordered the product and did not receive, you can reship the product order rather than gratis ship the product. For instructions on reshipping a product order,

These instructions require you to have a control group open. 


How to Gratis Ship a Product

  1. Navigate to to Order Entry

  2. Select Script

  3. Select Gratis

  4. Click OK

  5. Select Add Order

  6. The Order Entry page will appear. Complete the following fields:

Bill-to Customer

Enter the bill-to customer

Address Code

Enter the address code

7. Hit Enter and complete the following field:

Gratis Reason

Enter a gratis reason

8. Hit Enter and complete the following fields:

Item Number

Enter the item number to ship to the customer

Quantity Ordered

Enter the quantity order to ship to the customer

9. Click Done
10. A dialog box will appear to confirm that this product has not previously been sent to the customer, click Acknowledge
11. Hit Escape to return to the main screen of Call Center Order Entry
