Note

These instructions require you to have a control group open.

How to Cancel a Future Renewal Term

  1. From the Customer Service ribbon, navigate to Customer Activity

  2. Select the subscription you want to update and go to the tab for the Renewal Future Term and then select Subscription Modification

  3. The Choose Modification Operation box will appear. Enter CUS for Customer request Cancel and click OK

  4. The Customer Cancel Modification dialog box will appear, click Next

  5. Complete the following fields:

Service Reason

Enter the Service Reason

Issues to Credit

Make any necessary adjustments

Note

This can be locked down so that only certain people can override the issues to credit. This will need to be setup with the Advantage team.

Apply to Order

Make any necessary adjustments

Note

The Cancel All Terms box will be unchecked automatically. This is because this action is to cancel only this single term of the subscription, not the entire subscription.

6. Click OK
7. The Order Recap Display will appear, click Close

Wrap up

If a customer signs up for a subscription multiple under one account, either on purpose as part of a renewal offer, or accidentally, you should now know how to cancel only the future term rather than cancel the entire subscription.
