ADV FAQs Cancel Automatic Renewal

Use these instructions to cancel automatic renewal when a customer would like to have it removed from their subscription.

How to Cancel Auto Renew

  1. From the Customer Service ribbon, navigate to Customer Activity

  2. Select the subscription you want to update and then select Subscription Modification

  3. The Choose Modification Operation box will appear, enter PRO for Change Delivery/RN Flag etc. and click OK

  4. The Subscription Profile Modification dialog box will appear, click Next

  5. Complete the following fields:

Renewal Flag

Change from C to D for Discontinue Auto-Renew

Note

The D Renewal Flag is used by marketing to identify customers who were previously on auto-renew and have since cancelled. Do not use N or Y here as that will negatively impact future marketing.

6. Click OK
7. The Order Recap Display will appear, click Close
