Publishing Services Stance 2017-07-10
- Publishing Services will take action under the following circumstances
- one of the legal teams mandate to PubSvs that a specific action be taken; a good example is how we are handling IRIS promo abandon emails; the Monument & Cathedral legal team has mandated what our unsubscribe message should say; this action will be paid for from Publishing Services money or charged to Agora corporate in the same manner that we charge for many of the items that come from the Security team (Note: Agora corporate has to explicitly say that they should be charged for a certain activity)
- one of our affiliates submits a request to Publishing Services after receiving and interpreting legal advice from one of the legal teams
- Enrico's understanding of our legal teams
- Nicole Sullivan and Matt Turner are responsible for the Monument & Cathedral holdings
- Helen Hunsperger is responsible for the Cyprus holdings
- CASL is an external factor just like any other external factor and will be treated like so
- For example, if Gmail changes rules so that all messages that don't have a certain wording at the top will automatically go into the Junk box, it's up to the affiliates to reach out to Publishing Services if they require assistance complying with the new change in rules (Note: Our deliverability team should be aware of these types of things coming down the pike and making affiliates aware)
