Use these instructions when a customer's subscription is in W - Waiting to Start status.
These instructions require you to have a control group open. For more on control groups, go here.
How to Activate a Subscription in Waiting Status
From the Customer Service ribbon, navigate to Customer Activity
Select the subscription you want to update and then select Subscription Modification
The Choose Modification Operation box will appear, enter STD for Start Date Change and click OK
The Start Date Change Modification dialog box will appear, click Next
The Order Recap Display will appear, click Close
If a subscription is in W status, there may be a larger problem with the setup of the subscription. Generally this only occurs for a brand new publication before the first issue has been pulled. If the Start Issue Date has passed and the subscription is in W status, notify the support department by opening a support ticket to ensure there is not a larger issue.
