High Level Effort Setup using WMC-IRIS-BlueShift

Table of contents

Before you get started…

IMPORTANT! IRIS and WMC will need to use the same domain in order for this integration to work. Make sure your domain configurations are set up in IRIS and work with CST/TSP to make sure all applicable domains are also set up in WMC. Note that domains need to be unique per application, so you can’t use the same sub-root domains in WMC as OPIUM.

In WMC…

Create all eComm components for your effort (i.e. order pages, cross-sell/upsell pages, confirmation pages AND eComm journey)

You will include the WMC eComm journey name within the IRIS offer used for the effort, so make note of the name.

IMPORTANT! Make sure you are using the same domain on the WMC journey (field = domain) and the IRIS effort (field = domain configuration)

WMC domain field on new journey screen

In IRIS…

  • Create promotional pages and the offer

On the offer, under the OPIUM information section, you will enter the WMC journey name instead of the URL nickname from OPIUM

IRIS create creative offer screen where WMC journey name is entered
  • Create your tree including the offer (aka WMC eComm journey)

  • Create your effort

In Blueshift…

  • Create your confirmation emails

    • Use the WMC payload (WMC_purchase) and test to make sure content renders correctly when building the template

    • Create event triggered campaign based on WMC purchase event

    • Within the campaign, add appropriate filter(s) to ensure correct confirmation content is sent
