Creating Query Parameters

Summary / TL:DR: This article will teach you how to create query parameters in WMC.

This new feature in WMC is going to help you append your links easily! Query parameters are a useful tool which allows you to save commonly used link appendages.


How to Create Query Parameters in WMC

  1. Select More and select Query Parameters 

  2. Select Add New Query Parameters 

  3. Enter the name of your query parameter. For instance this could equal page. Note that this field is always lowercase 

  4. Next enter the values that can be added as a page. This could be confirmation page, signup page, free report page for instance. You will define all the values that can be selected here. Additional values can be added after this moment if necessary 

  5. Define where the query parameter is available 

Creatives

Applied to a specific creative link.

Journey

Applied to the whole journey. 

Effort

Applied to the effort link

6. Click Save
