Use these instructions to migrate a customers agreement. 

These instructions require you to have a control group open. For more on control groups, go here.



How To Upgrade an Agreement

  1. From the Customer Service ribbon, navigate to Customer Activity

  2. Right click the agreement you want to upgrade

  3. Select Migrate Agreement Package

  4. The Agreement Package Modification dialog box will appear, complete the following fields:

    Change to new packageBy default, the Upgrade Package Code should be in place. If not, ensure that the correct code is selected. 
    Promotion Code*Enter the promotion code for the upgrade
    Promotion ChoiceEnter the promotion choice for the upgrade
    Package Credit Flag

    Select the Appropriate Credit Actions if not defaulted from the offer:

    No = No Credit transfer 

    Full = Transfer Full Credit from original purchase. 

    Partial = Remaining Credit from Original order 

  5. Click OK

  6. The Saved Payment Methods dialog box will appear:

  7. Click Cancel

  8. Enter the payment details.

  9. Click OK

    When upgrading a customer their initial payment will be frozen. If the customer claims a refund this will need to be entered as a misc. refund as Advantage won’t be able to perform a cancellation on a migrated agreement.



How To Downgrade an Agreement


 Customer wants to revert back to base version...
  1. From the Customer Service ribbon, navigate to Customer Activity

  2. Right click the agreement you want to upgrade

  3. Select Migrate Agreement Package

  4. The Agreement Package Modification dialog box will appear, complete the following fields:

    Revert to previous package

    Select this option.
    This will automatically transfer the customer back to the Base only Level

    Package Credit Flag

    Select the Appropriate Credit Actions if not defaulted from the offer:

    No = No Credit transfer 

    Full = Transfer Full Credit from original purchase. 

    Partial = Remaining Credit from Original order 


  5. Click OK


 Customer is at highest package and wants to downgrade to basic...
  1. From the Customer Service ribbon, navigate to Customer Activity

  2. Right click the agreement you want to upgrade

  3. Select Migrate Agreement Package

  4. The Agreement Package Modification dialog box will appear, complete the following fields:

    Change to new package

    This will be automatically selected.

    Promotion Code*Enter the promotion code for the downgrade offer.
    Promotion ChoiceEnter the promotion choice for the downgrade offer.
    Package Credit Flag

    Select the Appropriate Credit Actions if not defaulted from the offer:

    No = No Credit transfer 

    Full = Transfer Full Credit from original purchase. 

    Partial = Remaining Credit from Original order 


  5. Click OK
