Upsell Using Portrait

Summary / TL:DR: This article provides instructions for logging an upsell/cross-sell via portrait.


Portrait is used for upsell/cross-sell orders involving any additional effort made by the customer service representative that results in the customer purchasing/placing an order for something other than what they initially called-in to order. Use these instructions when logging an upsell/cross-sell via portrait. 


How to Use Portrait to Mark an Upsell

  1. From the Customer Service ribbon, select Portrait

  2. The Customer Portrait Cross-Sell Path dialog box will appear

  3. Enter The Cross-Sell Path

  4. The Customer Portrait screen will appear, select the item that was up-sold/cross-sold and click Add to Cart (also available via the right click menu)

  5. When finished adding up-sells/cross-sells click 

     next to Order 

  6. The Order Entry screen will appear, hit ENTER: 

  7. A dialog box will appear:

  8. Click Yes to continue with placing the upsell/cross-sell order:

9. When complete, note the customer account.
