Use these instructions when adding additional issues on to the end of the subscription. This is done with providing a customer with a couple of additional free issues of the subscription as a customer service courtesy.
These instructions require you to have a control group open. For more on control groups, go here.
How to Extend a Subscription
From the Customer Service ribbon, navigate to Customer Activity
Select the subscription you want to update and then select Subscription Modification
The Choose Modification Operation box will appear, enter EXT for Complimentary Term Extension and click OK
The Complimentary Term Extension dialog box will appear, click Next
Complete the following fields:
Complimentary Extended Issues
Enter the Complimentary Extended Issues.
Service Reason
Enter the Service Reason.
Click OK
The New Subscription Final Expire Date will display, click Acknowledge
The Order Recap Display box will appear, click Close
Extending issues on a subscription does not defer liability.
