Use these instructions to partially refund an active registration on a conference.  


These instructions require you to have a control group open. For more on control groups, go here.



How to Partially Refund An Active Registration 



How to Partially Refund An Active Registration on a Conference Order 

  1. From the Customer Service ribbon navigate to Customer Activity

  2. Enter the customer number of the customer you would like to partially refund
  3. Highlight the active order that you would like to partially refund 
  4. Click the Selected Sessions tab

  5. Highlight the session to be partially refunded
  6. Click Change Session

  7. The Attendee Session Selection dialog box will appear

  8. Check the Override Cost Box

  9. Change the Per Unit Cost by the amount the customer should be refunded 

    For example, the price of a session is $1095 and you want to refund the customer $100. Adjust the per unit cost to $995 to give the customer $100 back. 


  10. Select an Override Reason from the dropdown box

  11. Hit ENTER
  12. The customer will be refunded the difference

  13. Repeat steps 5-11 to refund additional sessions 
  14. You have successfully partially refunded a conference order
