Bugs & Feature Requests (Product UI)

Below is a running list of UI related bugs and feature requests that have either already been submitted to ThoughtSpot, or have yet to be submitted. Anything that has been submitted has notes from the TS team. If something was not on their product roadmap at the time the request was submitted, we will follow up on those items when we next submit our list. We should aim to send this list every 6 months. Requests on this list will remain limited to the UI. (Bugs not related to UI functionality are submitted as tickets directly to the TS engineering team and will not be on this list. For example, a bug with the query execution path is critical to product functionality and would not be represented here. )

12/3/2020		Pinboard	Bug	Drill down in table view adds dimension to right instead of left side	When you drill down on an answer in a table, the new dimension is added to the right side of the table, all the way at the end, instead of on the left side, where dimensions are usually listed.
11/11/2020		Navigation	Feature	Pinboard/ Answer curation	Would be great to have a way to "remove share" from pinboards/answers under the "All" section for pinboards/ answers that have been shared with you that you don't want to see any more Also, would be helpful to be able to set an order of appearance for answers/ pinboards under All/ Yours/ Favorites so that you can see these in a meaningful order and not just by the Last Modified Date or alphabetically by name

9/1/2020	10/1/2020	Search	Feature	Data pane fields - smart ordering and typing	Ability to set order of fields in data pane in the worksheet rather than using alphabetical order. For example, there are logical ways to organize our fields that are not alphabetical. It would also be helpful if the data pane could have categories/ sub sections - especially if we could group by dimensions/ measures or commonly used dimensions/ measures, etc.	10/1/2020 - Not on roadmap for next 6 months

You can also combine it with other date filters. For eg. "last 30 days" "date != yesterday"
9/1/2020	10/1/2020	Admin	Feature	Data last reloaded date	The Admin -> System Health -> Data tab currently shows the last reloaded time by table. It would be helpful if an admin could copy and edit this table so that the last reloaded time for main fact tables could be shared with end users. Currently, if you hover over a worksheet name in the search data pane, you will get the last time the worksheet itself has been edited - that is misleading. If you hover over specific fields in the data pane, you will get a reload date, but our data all reloads at different times, so this can be misleading and it's not intuitive.	10/1/2020 - Not on roadmap for next 6 months

We don't need a ticket formed in our support queue everytime someone requests pinboard access.
