Creating Snippets

Snippets are saved reusable code that can be applied to creatives. This can help create consistency, save time and add accuracy to your content. Follow these steps to add a snippet.Â
How to Create Snippets in WMC
Select More and SnippetsÂ
Select add snippetÂ
Define a name for the snippetÂ
Next you will view the content builder. Here you will add your reusable code. This can be HTML, CSS, jS, or any of the following information:Â
Links | Adds a link to where the customer will go after clicking on the link in the add |
Ecomm | You will use this to add all of the form fields required for an order form. The required fields will display in red at the bottom of the screen and will dissapear as the fields are added. You will not be able to save your code until all required fields have been added. |
Form | This section is for Lead Gen only. Please do not use on order forms. |
Snippets | Reusable code that can be stored ahead and applied to content in WMC |
Conditional Content | Display different content based on conditions |
Data Placeholders | Include information specific to the customer, creative, effort, or journey to personalize content |
Media Library | Add images or content from the shared media library |
5. Once your code has been added you’ll need to define how and where this snippet can be applied.Â
Store the snippet to be manually added to a page | Users would need to select and apply this snippet to an individual piece of content (the default) |
Add to all pages in specified domains | This snippet is universal and should be added to all pages within a domain |
Apply to all pages in organization | This should be used when code Is global to all pages. This will be used rarely and will affect all pages. |
