Add a Promotion Add-On

Summary / TL:DR: This article will show you how to add a promotion add-on to a membership choice in Advantage.
You can add pubs that would not typically be member benefit pubs for memberships at this membership level. In other words, say you want to add on pub LD1 to this membership, but specific to this promotion only. This tab is where you could do that. Use these instructions to add an ad hoc baby pub.

How to Create a Membership Choice with a Promotion Add-On
From the Marketing Ribbon, click Memberships
Locate the member org pub you would like to override pricing for and highlight the option.Â
Click Change
The Member Choice Maintenance dialog box will appear.
Click Promotion Add-Ons
Click the Add Icon
The Member Promotion Add-On Maintenance box will appear. Complete the following fields:
Membership Organization | Automatically filled in based on the member choice selected. |
Org Level Publication | Automatically filled in based on the member choice selected. |
Member Choice | Automatically filled in based on the member choice selected. |
Add-On Membership Publication* | Enter any pub that is not normally on the membership. |
Promotion Code* | Enter the new promotion code. |
Promotion Choice | Enter the new promotion choice. |
Charge Category* | Enter TS |
Membership Organizations ID | This field is not used. Leave blank. |
Target Expire Month | This field is not used. Leave blank. |
Auto-Renewal Method | This field is not used. Leave blank. |
8. Click OK
9. Repeat steps 6-8 for any additional add-on’s
10. Click OK
