Add a Promotion Offer
Summary / TL:DR: This article will show you how to add a new promotion offer code in Advantage. Offer codes group together choices, credit policy and premiums sets together that can be applied to many promotion codes.
How to Add a Promotion Offer
From the Marketing ribbon, click Promotion OffersÂ
Click the Add Icon
The Promotion Offers Dialog box will appear. Complete the following item:
Offer Code | Enter the new Offer Code.  The max characters is 16.  This is generally a combination of the pub code/item number, price, promotion name, refund and premium. |
4. Hit Enter to continue to the Offer Detail section.
5. The Promotion Offers box will appear. Complete the following items:
Description* | Enter the description of the promotion offer. |
Publication | Enter the publication code for the primary subscription or membership being sold. If creating a promotion offer for a product, AMB, or conference, leave this field blank. |
Premium Set | Add the Premium Set. If attached to the choice, leave this blank otherwise the premium may fulfill twice to the customer. |
Credit Policy ID* | Define the terms of the refund policy. For instructions on adding a credit policy, go here. |
Owning Organization* | Enter the affiliate code to identify which business the offer code is associated with. |
Multiple Agreements? | Enter the Multiple Agreements flag. |
6. Hit Enter
7. Navigate to the Promotion Item tab on the bottom half of the screen to add all of the choices to the Promotion Offer
8. Click Add
9. The Promotion Items Set-up dialog box will appear, click Save Settings
10. The Promotion Item Maintenance dialog box will appear.  Enter the Item Number, Billing Currency and Promotion Choice.
11. In the Details tab, enter the Choice Description
12. Select one of the following options...
13. Continue to add all choices repeating the steps in steps 8-12.
