Summary / TL:DR: This article will show you the process for changing the name of a publication.

Upon receipt of a Pub Name Change ticket, please take the following steps:

Pub Name Change Policy and Procedure

  1. Move the ticket to JSD Global Support and assign it directly to Kat Stealey and include the pub code, before and after title and the date it is to go live by. A sample is below:

Please complete the name change for (pub) from ______ to _________ by _______ (date) in Support and IRIS.

  2. It is now time to update and save the name change spreadsheet in Box with the details of the name change- the box path is listed below:

    C:\Box\EPP Shared\Electronic Banking\Advantage\Name Changes

**If a descriptor override was completed as part of the name change, please also update the new pub spreadsheet as well. Path to that file is below**

    C: \Box\EPP Shared\Electronic Banking\Advantage\New pub codes

  3. Once Kathryn assigns the ticket back to you and confirms her pieces are complete, we will want to add the rest of the below parties as watchers and continue to pass the ticket to other teams in the following order- Renewals, Advantage, E-comm.

JSD Renewals: Unassigned when passed; Michael Ward as watcher

JSD Advantage Support: Unassigned when passed when passed and as a watcher

JSD E-Comm: Sarah Smiley when passed; Patrick Nichols as watcher

TCC: Megan Gill and Kevin Davis as watcher

Middleware: Ryan Sturm as a watcher

Accounting: Pam Comegys as a watcher
