How To Create a Subscription Auto-Renew Chain
Navigate

to CIRCHN in Open View.
Click the Add Icon
The CIR Renewal Chain Maintenance dialog box will appear. Complete the following fields:
Publication Code* | Enter the publication code for this chain. |
Renew Chain ID* | Enter a unique identifier of the chain. |
Chain Type* | Select R |
Description | Enter the description of the chain including the prices and term length. |
Usage Comment | Use to enter a full description of the chain. |
Auto-repeat last sequence in chain | If the last sequence in the chain should continue to repeat forever, check this box. If the chain should end and not renew after the last sequence, leave unchecked (not common). |
4. Click Next to begin adding the sequences

6. The Cir Renewal Chain Sequence Maintenance dialog box will appear. Complete the following fields:
Auto-Renewal Chain Sequence Description | Enter a description for the first chain of the auto-renew. | ||||
Days Until Renewal | Enter when the customer should be charged for their next sequence.
| ||||
Sub Choice | Leave this blank for the first sequence. |
7. Click OK
8. Click the Add Icon to add the second sequence
9. The Cir Renewal Chain Sequence Maintenance dialog box will appear. The chain sequence will default to two (2). Complete the following fields.
Auto-Renewal Chain Sequence Description | Enter a description for the second chain of the auto-renew. | ||||
Days Until Renewal | Enter when the customer should be charged for their next sequence.

Sub Choice | Enter the subscription choice associated with the 2nd term. |
10. Click OK
11. Continue to add sequences if a chain is wanted, as necessary. by following steps 8-10. If not, click OK.
