While WMC was designed to offer a single application for all campaign management and e-commerce capabilities and can be used end to end today, some of the reporting and features users are used to when using IRIS are not currently available. You can find more details on that here. 

Therefore, the WMC team has designed an IRIS integration to close some of these gaps while they continue to develop the application. This is very similar to how OPIUM integrates with IRIS today with a few minor differences (outlined below).

Create a Journey

In WMC, create a Journey starting with the Order Form and ending with all steps after.

Set the Domain

Note

The domain selected here MUST match the Default Order Form URL entered in IRIS (step 3).

There is a new field on the Journey creation page in WMC that allows you to add the domain. (Traditionally the domain would be added on the effort level.)

This setting will accomplish two things:

  • Any global snippets set at the domain level will apply to this journey

  • When previewing the journey, the domain used in the preview will be the one set up

Set up the domain being used for the order part of the journey in IRIS. This is the domain selected in WMC. This will be the domain that is used in the URL

Attach the Journey

On the Offer in IRIS, add the name of WMC Journey created previously to the URL Nickname field. This field has been renamed:

Create the Effort

Create the effort in IRIS as you normally would. Be sure to select the domain created in step 3.
